because every day is pure potential

Blueprint

In the early part of April 2012, my mother was so unhappy with how sad I was, and how bad I looked, that she said “I want to take a photo of you in this moment, so you can look back and see how awful you are right now.” At the time, it made me mad, but I wish I let her take that photo, because now I am in the process of change.

I’ve hit the reset button of my life, and here is what I’ve been doing, as of August 2012:

  • Get Heathy. Go on a 25 Day Health Retreat. Carry lessons back into my life, when I return. << The Health Retreat, at the Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute in Puerto Rico, is complete. The green detox/cleansing diet continues until I’m more balanced, physically.
  • Gain Knowledge. Attend retraining class in Film. Carry lessons back into my professional life. << Attended Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine. Great class in Visual Storytelling with wonderful professionals. So much applies to my writing and my work.
  • Get Creative. Learn to bite life, again. Do what I need to do to get my power back.  <<Work In Process, Baby. I feel the power returning, and am reminding myself to bite life, all the time.
  • Get Fit. It is one thing to cleanse your diet. It is another to get toned, gain stamina, and cleanse your emotions. Look to my brother Dan for major inspiration/coaching, my friend Johanna for her professional expertise, and keep moving, everyday.

This blog is my way to reconnect with all of it, and with all of you, in the process. My email is pattypino at yahoo.com and my twitter account in @BeingPattyPino. I welcome your questions and comments. Thanks for joining me.

Look inside woman, look deep inside and far far back. Look at it, acknowledge it and then move on. Then focus on who you really are and what you want to spend the rest of your life doing and do it…and don’t care what anyone around you thinks about it. Be Patty Pino!
